Sit it like the real new HSK 5: 35 listening and 35 reading questions and 2 writing tasks (a picture story and a short essay) in about 110 minutes. Each section is scored out of 100. The new exam’s pass marks are not published yet, so we show 60% as a guide. Speaking is a separate test; we add a few speaking tasks to practise out loud.
